Applications & services
Deploying and operating self-hosted applications with secure access, observability, updates, and lifecycle ownership.
A hands-on infrastructure lab designed, built, and operated by Zach Gafford.

ABOUT THE LAB
Gafford-Reserve is my production-minded environment for learning, testing, and operating real infrastructure. Every layer is hands-on: physical installation, structured cabling, server and storage configuration, networking, services, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
The lab is both a useful platform and a technical portfolio—a place where architecture decisions meet real constraints, failures become documentation, and ideas become working systems.
CAPABILITIES
Deploying and operating self-hosted applications with secure access, observability, updates, and lifecycle ownership.
Building flexible compute environments for lab workloads, testing, automation, and infrastructure experiments.
Managing multi-drive storage, shared data, backup workflows, and the operational discipline that keeps data available.
UNDER THE HOOD
WHY I BUILT IT
A production-minded learning environment
under active development
Gafford-Reserve is where I turn infrastructure concepts into working systems—and where every build, failure, repair, and improvement becomes practical experience.
